R34-GTR advice

I am looking to purchase a 99 R34-GTR as a company car. I have been told to expect $75-80k for an import. No idea what a local one would cost. Is there any importers to stay away from? Any help/suggestions would be greately appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I do own my own company and i'm posting here because I have had no luck at all in tracking down an R34 GTR in Canberra. I thought i'd try Melbourne and Sydney.

Check the for sale section as I think Chopobo was selling a black r34GTR for around 70-75K

Yeah I called him... apparently a V-spec 99 R34 GTR, with 20k on the clock for $75,000. Is it just me or does that sound a bit dodgy for that price?

It is a great price and it is believable, just make sure you do your home work and get the car examined extensively. Including the goodwill of the car etc. Also get the car on the dyno so you can see if there is anything playing up and check for accident damage.

chopobo, if it is what the guy on the phone said it is and hasn't had any accident's, no damage and is ok when inspected i'll be down there on the next plane

i think gerald from ice performance has an r34 gtr for sale (friends car me thinks) he also has an r33 gtr for sale to

both are standared

my front bar has fallen off more times than my wheel has

if i have the time im gonna go down and check it myself

and tell you what i find

save you hassle of wasting money coming down and then be disappointed
