did u hapen to notice if there was a white au xr8 or a blue bf xr6 parked near he medical center near the heli pad cause we were walking round the mount and a gun metal r32 gtr drove passed us. mite of being you. Yeah the mount is a good place to walk it gets u fit pretty quick walking and jogging it.

I went to last years bathurst 1000 and walked from reid park around to the bottom on friday night. Unless you been there, you really dont know how steep the track is. Unbelievable.

Pity u didnt do it on saturday nite and i knew u i woulda sung out to u to say gday as i was in the team kiwi shed helpin them put the car back together after helping the tint-a-car team in the fujitsu series all weekend.

even after all these years the v8's still cant figure out how to beat the skyline...

GT-R you mean.............GT-R = Godzilla..... GTS-t + GT-T = NOT godzilla

well how could they....if Porsche cant even figure out how to beat the latest R35?!

and had the biggest dummy spit and made a conspiracy against the GT-R

but to be honest, those new VE maloo utes are shit HELLA QUICK!

and they look really nice too

Pity my gtst nugget beat the ve ute!

Oh and I think David knows the difference !!

Actually, search YouTube for user giant, he has his r33 Gtr in rwd mode at Bathurst carving up porsches, a new r35 and many other cars!!!

evil, where is this user giant bloke, i cant find him on youtube.

edit: i think i found him

Yeah thats the video take not of when they were goin over the humps in mountain and conrod straight how they backed of to keep the car straight.

Pity my gtst nugget beat the ve ute!

Hey Chris,

Is that your car mentioned in march MOTOR under "What's in your garage section"??? I've just noticed that while reading it last night if so that's cool I would keep a copy to show my grandkids one day.

Perhaps you could use that as a sales pitch with prospective buyer? :)

Good luck with sale.

    • Sadly I can confirm if you are actually seeking to drift, you will quite easily spin up one wheel. Even if you're going in a straight line. I am not entirely sure of the metrics/terminology here but there's only a certain amount that the helical will actually spin both wheels. I've seen it on video with my own car where two lines of smoke switch over to just one after you really get in to it. Unlike with a clutch diff where you can keep your foot planted until the car regains grip, in my experience with the helical you want to be utilizing traction control allowing LIMITED slip or lifting (partially) when you start to spin up both tyres with a Nissan helical. Which makes them pretty sub optimal for drifting duty. That said... this is probably a helical on numbers alone. Just put the Kazz in
    • Let's just fix the problem by f**king the rest of the gearbox.
    • Unlikely, as per Greg's post. This is not helical diff behaviour unless one wheel is up off the ground. Shimming what? You don't "shim" a mechanical LSD. Probably not in the sense that you have heard of people "shimming" a diff. And the process that Nissan f**kwits call "shimming" a diff involves super-preloading a VLSD cartridge against the side of the diff to create a friction/wear point (in a place that it wasn't supposed to have one) to make the sloppy, useless, viscous diff into a hybrid viscous/mech abortion. In case it isn't clear, I consider the process to be stupid. Nike.
