hey guys does anyone know if the gts link ecu is the same as the vi-pec ecu ?

wanted to know if this will solve all my problems with boost cut and all the rest ?

thanks.

Yes they are the same except the Vi-Pec is a true plug in which comes with unlimited local support where the link lacks this service.

This ecu once fitted and tuned will solve ALL your boost cut issues and you can get rid of the air flow meter as well.

Both are plug in, both are identical. for non belivers here is a pic of the LINK. Having used both i can honestley say flip a coin to which one you decide to buy.... as the only differrence is the badge. If you look closely at the second pic you can see the VIPEC has the LINK logo blacked out (some were covered in a white sticker).

Have you had any trouble ordering the Links URAS ? Mine is finally getting here 4months after ordering it ! Apparently there selling well, and sending to those putting in large orders first.

mine finally arrived this week.

To the original poster...... the new ones are just a "G4 plugin" to suit a gtst.... The very first plugin was called the "GTS LINK" This is alot older. just check if your looking to buy one you dont get conned.

I just replaced my GTS Link with the new G4 plugin.

u guys are sooo fu@kin lucky!!! I got a quote from the dealer in my country for the plug in for the R33gtst converted back to AUD = $4500..... an that's without tuning.

What r u guys paying?

What country are you in? You should be able to buy direct from Link in New Zealand - if not they will direct you to a dealer who will sell to you. I thiink they are around NZ$1500 to $2000 depending on specification.

$1760 for the Vi-PEC pnp and $2250 for the V88.

Like Kiwi said...what country are you in? with an exchange rate like that you must be from Zimbabwe.

    • Just something I found searching for more info on Emotion R, apparently the ECR33 Skyline GTS25t was either originally black, or there were two of them, the black one being the original demo car, then building a white one which was part of the 1997-onwards (to at least 2008!) Cockpit Tatebayashi Tokyo Auto Salon booth demo cars. It appears that Emotion R closed down in 2008 and was declared bankrupt in 2010: http://bank-db.com/hasan/208365.
