Hi guys, I had an aftermarket wheel put on my 33 GTSt a while ago and I have recently decided to sell the car so have reinstalled the original airbag steering wheel... the only issue has been the airbag light has stayed on... I understand I may have to reset the system so I have done as suggested below>

"How to reset SRS(air bag) light:

Open the driver's door. Note the rubber covered button located low on the B pillar, a button which is pressed by the door when the door is closed. This is the Driver's Door Switch (DDS).

Turn the ignition from OFF to ON. Press the DDS at least 5 times within 7 seconds after turning the ignition switch ON. Turn the ignition OFF. Close the driver's door. Start the engine.

If the airbag warning lamp is still on (or still flashing), there is a fault in the Supplemental Restraint System which must be diagnosed and repaired. This is a job for your local friendly Nissan dealer."

Unfortunately this has not worked and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the fact I'm running a Power FC... should I reinstall the standard computer and try again?

Any help is appreciated:)

I finally got the airbag light issue sorted. The secret was to unplug the Power FC and revert back to the OEM ecu, then carry out the reset procedure of pressing the driver door jam for five times within 7 secs (well you all know the drill).

Well I actually paid Racepace to it sorted and they did, so I am told of the above

Cheers

Matt
