hi all

i know there are other threads on boost controllers and i have read them but still cant decide what to do.

im currently in the market to buy an electronic boost controller for my series 2 R33 gtst, i have an apexi power fc (not currently installed....its coming lol) and cant decide on whether to buy the power fc boost controll kit or whether to buy something else such as an avc-r or profec b etc etc.

so basically im just after some advice from everyone on what i should do as it would be muchly appreciated

cheers

I was in the same boat a month ago. Bought the Gizzmo MS-IBC. I cant find anything bad about it. So dam easy to install/tune.

The hardest bit for ME was finding a good IGN power feed as i didnt have a Multi-meter or anything. From start to finish, it took me about 3 hours.

I like the AVC-R however i dont like the big TV screen that comes with it. The MS-IBC is soo compact that people cant see it from the outside.

yeah thats why i have been leaning toward getting the power fc additional boost control kit so then its all integrated into the one unit but then the other ones have all these cool features too, im just confused and undecided at the moment lol

Did you do a search?

theres heaps threads like this mate.

yeah i did do a search, if you notice what i wrote in my original post, i have read them but they still dont leave me with a definate way to go

Blitz id3 if i could afford it, gizzmo on a budget, but i got a HKS EVC IV for next too nothing, so using that

there was a recent thread on how good their gain and dual solenoids is! picked up massive midrange over an AVC-R

hmmmm looks like ill have to have a look for it and have a read me thinks

i have a oldish profec b with 2 knobs.

one is boost and one is gain. and a button for hi or low boost. best boost controler ever!

you just turn the gain all the way up, set the boost and turn the gain down till it doesnt surge.

so easy to use and ultra fast to set up. no entering set boost, gain etc etc......
