no there is a black top as well as a purple top type s... the only difference is color. the type r bov is a bit bigger, and only comes in black.

ive never seen a trumpet for the type s bov... i cant see why it would need it. i bought the bov to use myself as a plumback, but decided to keep the atmo venting hks one i already had.
