[MYS*FIT] Charity Cruise - Summary

Guest [ryan]

Hey Guys,

Well i suppose it's safe to say the cruise was a success. Started off with perfect weather, some of us met up at the Thronleigh maccas and then we were on our way. We met up with some guys from the central coast at AutoPro Gosford and then headed off to Wisemans Ferry for our picnic. The drive there was nice, PranK put alot of work into this cruise and it definately paid off with the drive along that road. Some people complained it was crap, but that's their problem. A majority of us enjoyed the day thats the main thing :) Thanks to PranK and JOC469 for the rides, and special thanks to all of the people that made the sausage sizzle possible :) Also a thanks to all the kind-hearted people who made a donation it certainly went to a great cause - i lost an uncle to cancer a couple of years ago and my aunty is currently on death row due to cancer also, so it's kinda sad and i wish it was a curable thing. Oh well life goes on. I enjoyed the day, looking forward to the next cruise!

Once again thanks to PranK and JOC469 for the rides :)

Cheers,

Ryan

hey, just wanted to apologise for the no-show

I was very keen to come but wasn't available till 11am

I belong to the Hyper Club and rang our secretary... but he wasn't there. Maybe next time.

Look forward to ya next one. Usually Saturdays are better and weeknights are cool too.

Rob

Thanks Prank we had a great time,,,,,We couldn't beleive how many different makes of cars turned up. Where do u start,,,me getting clobered by the box trailer in the macca's car park, the remote controlled cars at Gosford, the look on the big mutts face on the ferry, the 2 Bull-terriors(gossip mungers) and a nice easy run down to the ferry. How about the Suzuki pulling that wheelstand as he overtook us,,,,COOL.

I wanted to have a bit of fun on the old Gosford road and so did the Honda behind me,Oh well,, a bit of a Pity about the poor guy in the Excel,,,that could have been any one of us. Thanks Onarun for the great photo of my car coming off the ferry,,,Thats now my wallpaper at work,,,I love pissing off the 2 Commadore drivers I have to suffer everyday.

I know Monty loved it,,,he went straight to bed when we got home,,,how many sausages did u guys feed him,,, he was farting all the way home!!!!!.YUK.

I'm thinking this should be a twice a year thing,,,,I'll bring the Cricket set!!!. Some more time beforehand and Mel and I should be able to get some sponsors on board.

BIG Thanks gotta go the Bec, her Mum, Dad, Prank and Steve, sorry if I missed someone. Thanks again.

Mel,Neil and Monty.

no pics were taken.

no one was hurt, just shaken up. i think his g/f was going to be taken to hospital for a check up but not sure what happened with that.

we drove past about 20min after the accident on our way to wisemans ferry and we saw 3 big rural emergency services trucks (i think that's what they're called). they were there to clean up the oil and the fallen lamp post. his car would definately have been towed away.
