theres something moving from my right door lmfao, its like a rat or something .. the car doesnt move or nothing and i can hear it moving........

anyone know what it is lmfao.

yep...common issue,...get some rat-bait, put it on the driver's side floor well, leave your car doors closed.

Should be gone in about 6 hours.

They love chewing on power-window cabling...

OMFG MY CABLES OH NOES

do tell! this is interesting...

ive never heard of this kind of problem...

well not in the doors anyways..

ive heard of mechanics telling me of rats getting into the air condition system....(how? i donno..) but then the impellers in the fan chopped it up and gave the car a foul wrentch. taking them hours to dismantle the system to get it out.

Take you inner door panel off and its probley just a loose clip that has come off...

Skylines have a lot of plastic clips and screws and over the years they come loose, assume its normal.

say your name backwards 3 times and this will destroy the spell

"emoswa"? LOL

i recon its highly unlikely that its a rat dude...there shoouldnt be holes big enough for it to get in....unlless the hole for the wiring of the elctric windows the rubber bush is gone..but still....you'd be able to see that

please...allow me to put people out of their misery! :)

It was a joke! ...geeeeesh!! :D

lol well its not very nice to joke around when someone is really asking for help

anyhow, like i mentioned...it is possible to some extent.....

like the mice in the aircondition system that got chopped up

well I am very sorry...I certainly didn't mean to offend you, or anyone else for that matter!

If you check my history, I think you'd find that I am, at least, a reasonable contributor.......most of the f**king time anyway!..lol! :)

    • It's also worth noting that I am heavily and unconditionally biased. I've had a lot of cars including some GTRs a fair while ago. I love my BMW's now a lot. They make no sense a lot of the time and the guys on here remind me regularly that I could get something else that does what I want better and cheaper. If you're going to take on an older BMW it's definitely a commitment. If you bail on it early you'll lose money and also the ability for it to put a smile on your face. Stick with it and it just gets better.  f**k I should get into advertising.
    • Careful with posts like that around here without the flame suit on @cobo_11! 馃槀馃槀 My 330i journal is on here too. That car was so good and super reliable. We still have a 130i in the family which is almost identical to the 330i and easier to find in manual. It has also been almost faultless over the 6 or so years in the family.  I used to want an M car a lot more than I do now but if I'm honest and without trying to sound like a wanker, I can get such good performance and handling out of my 335 without needing to worry about all the crap that goes along with M car ownership. I don't need to worry about my bearings or subframe issues or the cost of replacing brakes or suspension or whether it has been impeccably maintained. And I can leave it places and not get upset when it's always filthy.
    • A pretty cool little feature discovered while restoring my seats.
    • Great write ups / details / photos. I'm sort of on the road to E90 ownership (325i or 330i), haven't hit the fork in the road yet "Yes" | "No", and some of the issues you've faced have me nervous for the age these are getting to nowadays (that wiring, jesus), but I'm guessing the pro's of ownership are still outweighing the con's? Of course, if the bloody tattslotto ROI actually went my way...E90 M3. And I'd have the cash to do all the extra lovely maintenance THOSE require. 馃槃
    • They sure do, great for when you need to chuck a sickie 馃槄   You should definitely give the beast a squirt on the track, great to enjoy the car
