Steering Wheel Removal Help

Hi Guys

I need to remove a R33 S2 stock steerin wheel, i did a search and it said to pry of the cover but it doesnt want to come off! there are two bolts on either side...should i be undoing these?

Any help would be mint!!

hey mate have not removed a s2 wheel before but just done my s1.5 airbag there are 2 tamper proof screws to undo to remover cover you cannot pry i off....i bought a 15 dollar set of tamper proof "drives"" from ebay did the job........you need this tool to get it off.......

Yep, remove the torx screws from the side, unplug the unit and loosen (but dont fully remove) the nut holding the wheel on the steering column. Now you'll have to grab he top of the wheel and shake it to remove it. It could be hard it might be easy, but when it lets go you'll be glad that nut is still partially on.
