Hey,

I have a series 1 r33, and the electric windows wind up and down no worries, the only problem is that the drivers side winder always stops a few mm shy of the top of the seal and you can see a gap all the way around the side of the window.

This means that the window leaks slightly when I was the car or when I drive in the rain (probably gets in when it is parked too, but car is normally garaged)

I did a search and couldn't come up with anything except having to replace the motor etc.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

take your trim off and have a peak if you can to see why its stopping early. could be something physical like the arm and gears itself. does the motor try to turn when you wind up eventhough its already up? mine does but is quickly switches itself off.
