I took my car for a drive the other night and it felt fairly doughy. And when I stopped to idle it down the revs droped aas low as 450rpm, then it rose and fell and wouldn't stop. I thought maybe a line had come off but everything seems fine. Any suggestions??

could also be an AFM related problem....

Would this make it misfire slightly and make it really laggy as well??

if the air fuel mixtures are buggered it will cause all sorts of problems....

It could be a multitude of things. Best bet is to see a mechanic if you dont see anything obvious.

My car did something very similar, but only on start up. In my case it was a filthy afm, I took the afm out and gave it a clean with throttle body cleaner. I put it back in and started the car, and no more problem.

You could give it a try, you have nothing to lose.
