Remove drivers side front wheel, then you`ll see your wheel arch liner that covers the inner arch. The back section comes off by the 3 screws attaching it to the wing,a couple off push in trim clips and a screw on the sill bodykit piece.Behind that you`ll see a big rubber grommet going into the car (bulkhead area)just push a new hole in it or squeeze new loom/boost sensor tube through with the main loom into the car, they`ll appear next to the throttle cable area.

i ran my boost lines on the drivers side (look in engine bay) on the firewall you should see existing cables running into a grommet and the wires then run under your wheel arch into the engine bay..

i can run the boost cable there, but im putting in a new solanoid to and the cable wont reach( and i dont want to cut them to make them longer) so i trying to find something a bit closer

hey thanks for the replies, i was looking around for ages and found that on the passengers side there is a box in the engine bay which is the abs system, behind that there is a gromet which the the ecu cables run through.

    • Ah yeah I forget we aren't talking about an RB.
    • Fellow ADHDer to fellow ADHDer; Don't chase that paint perfection. Paint the bumpers, and put them on.  Leave the respray for another day. Plus, no one is going to see those old areas above. Any spots of surface rust, give them a clean up, prime, then hit with a white paint just to protect them from rusting. Again, no one can see it.   #Mine hasn't been on the road since 2011 cause ADHD... I've slowly learned not to keep f**king with shit if I don't need to...
    • That would be interested if it's the case as seems like it would make the job a lot messier but subaru sells OEM gaskets so seems it might of had it.
    • Fuel tank is out. Looks pretty bloody good under (ie above) the fuel tank.  Amazing how good the factory e-coat holds up in the hidden areas.  No where near as much body deadener to get rid of as the front but still not looking forward to it!  Shit of a job.  I'm thinking I might grab a needle scaler and give that a go before I attack it with the angle grinder and wire wheel which is how I did the front 2/3's of the car.  Feels good to be working on the car again but who knows how long it will last!  Hopefully I can get it further forward than where it was prior to this last block of work when I decided to go back 10 steps further down the rabbit hole from where i already was! The problem is, I'm realising how hard it will be to repair and paint the bumpers, which cannot be put back on the car, and have a good paint match. There are also areas where it would be VERY hard to hide the new paint where it transitions from old paint. Like this- There is only one way to do that perfectly and I really dont want to have to do what that means I would have to do... 🤦‍♂️
    • Pretty sure the factory assembly doesn't have any gasket at all, just RTV.
