iamhe77
Wouldn't usually post stuff like this, but just in case... I received this email from a mate; BEWARE OF PAPER IN THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE NEW WAY TO DO CAR JACKINGS (NOT A JOKE) You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into Reverse. When you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view.. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car jacker's appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car. And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car. So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised! BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.... If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later And be thankful that you read this e-mail. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/257537-paper-warning/ Share on other sites

Bis-e Bee
Or take your back window out all together, or in the case of the M35 the windscreen wiper might knock the paper off Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/257537-paper-warning/#findComment-4431770 Share on other sites
iamhe77
Or, just look at your back window before getting in the car..... Agreed... But that would require common sense, something that the majority of our populace is missing (or choose to ignore) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/257537-paper-warning/#findComment-4431794 Share on other sites

See who comes out of hiding, then reverse and run the f**ker over! rb26stagea
Damnit dude! Why'd you have to go tell everyone?! All I ever wanted was 16 Stageas in my driveway (don't ask me why), and now what chance do I have?! Sheesh: some people...... In all seriousness, it's not a bad scam: I don't think most people would notice it on the way back to their car, and most would probably assume it was a worthless piece of advertising if they saw it once they were in the car. The Police beat at my local shopping centre used to leave a slip under the front window wipers either congratulating you on having locked your car when they checked, or chastising you for leaving it unlocked ( I believe they actually tried to lock unsecured cars, if they could)...
