I got a stock one, but otherwise get it made.

Your sedan got rear discs with it's IRS???

All hatch's have rear discs and they're interchangeable with sedan. Just attach at cross member, but if you do this you will need the handbrake cables as they are different to the drum ones.

nah got me a dr30 rear end. disc, calipers, shafts, everything except diff

r31 gts front shocks etc with discs and calipers

rear is dr shafts (i think) but an r200 open wheeler which has stood the test of time for at least a year of second gearies

Same spec, just different offset on hubs.

Is yours pre or post 83?

82

You would have a TOKIKO style master cylinder???

If yes, there is a 1 inch upgrade available, don't know what vehicle it comes off, but if you took your old 7/8 m/c to a brake shop, or you know exactly what it looks like, get them to order you one.

Our 84/5's can only go up to 15/16 unless we change all the bundy tubing.

im not sure. the cylinder seems to be holding up ok so far. what are the advantages of changing it?

makes sense. z31 discs are the same as dr30's?

Same spec 274 x 22 as your R31 GTS.

We have discussed this topic extensively on another thread.

I have DR front & rear, slotted rotors and EBC green pads up front & black rear.

They are a high temp KEVLAR compound low friction, excellent road set up. But I am going to upgrade my fronts to BNR32 GTR 296 x 32 with 4 spot Nissan alloy calliper, only because I have, potentially over 300Kw at the wheels.

Anyone know if cutting a MR30 hatch grille (the eggcrate one with the three slats) so that the eggcrate crap comes out, effictively makes it the same as the other three slat grilles?

And if a set of coilovers were made for a 180B, they should bolt up to a R30 since R30 stuff bolts up to Dattos?

when i did the engine swap the machanic put the r32 master cylinder on mine, never had a peddel feel so good! with the hr brake callipars on mine i had to go to bendix comp X pads as EBC dont make front pads for these callipars...

Jenesis is www.r30.co.jp but when you access it put it through Alta Vista translation or similar so you can sort of understand what there saying in descriptions.

BUT! don't get to excited, they won't trade with you DIRECT, it's a good site to explore, and a lot of their parts can be made here just from the pictures. It is a good referrence site as well, to see what they do with them in Japan.

If your interested in getting some bits from them, it might be a good idea to put it to open forum discussion and we try and jointly get an order together and then get in touch with a parts importer, like Nengun, one of SAU sponsors.

Only one problem I can see with your car...... far too many doors!

i'd put my hand up for a group order from jenesis as there are a few body parts i'd like from them, i could speck to the boys at option 1 as they have have containers comming over each month...

Already done that, I talk to Nathan & Paul at least once per week.

Yeah i would be interested as well in getting some stuff from jenisis...I know in one of the earlier pages on this mammoth post that there was talk bout it, but that kinda died in the ass i spose...I wouldn't mind some of that bracing for a start that would rock!! Depending on what we can get and for what sorta $$$ it will all cost of course though!!

Geez, you've gotta be on the ball to keep up with this thread!! :D

Talk to Whiteline and they will tell you both rear tower brace and floor braces aren't necessary' date=' but Jenesis makes, sells & uses them, so! someone aint up to speed.QUOTE']

I thought it was still a good idea, even with a rear tower brace,as the mid-section can get a bit "flexy" with no B pillars...

Also,I may be interested in a engine dampener brace from Jenesis, depending on price.Does anyone know if there's something to do the job locally?

    • I like it when the counter chick leads you out the back into the racks and says "have a grub around in here and see if you can find what you need. I'll be back in a few minutes. Just left me in front of a massive motorised shelving system and 2-3 million fasteners, so I could find a peculiar SS shoulder bolt with cap head. Gotta love country towns.
    • I used this https://osgiken.com.au/product/os-giken-os-250r-lsd-gear-oil-80w250-1-litre/   shut my nismo 1.5 pro up by heaps…. Not silent though. Gives the car character and personality. It ain’t a carolla. If you want silent, put a quaife in it.
    • It's about the same time for me from Bunnings, or the Fasteners. My big push away from takeaway food, and gluten in general keeps me away from the Bunnings Snags too! Weather up here, I've been out for two walks today in the beautiful sunshine. Had a few little drizzles, and some wind, that honestly, a tin of beans and I could compete on how harsh she blows Thankfully, being this bit inland, we're not getting anything much really. Will probably pick up a bit more when/if Cyclone Alfie decides to come ashore. A few areas in the GC though, and south into NSW are really getting smashed though! Right now, I'm just annoyed Alfie hasn't hit, as I'm not allowed to crack into the BBQ foods like the bacon and eggs until the Cyclone hits "In case we lose power"...
    • I love fastener joints, the price difference between them and joints like Bunnings or Super Cheap is amazing, and they either have exactly what you want, or they can get it to quick They have even given me some for free when I only needed a couple of specific size In saying this, I have paid premium for fasteners from Bunnings if they have the sizes I need, but only for convenience really, as my local is only 10 minutes away, the Sushi joint near them is also a consideration  How's the weather Matt? Stay safe mate
    • Wideband is worth setting up if only for tuning purposes. I would not mess with the ignition system unless there's a misfire. HKS crank trigger is popular out here for the relatively easily sourced Denso crank sensor, not a bad idea to install as well regardless of power level on a standalone. Boost leak test is worth thinking about. Oil pressure sensor tied to a fuel cut isn't a bad idea either. Getting the tune figured out is a good idea. Without putting eyes on it and getting under it there's no way for us to tell you exactly what it needs but most likely you're down to the last 10% that will make a big, big difference in how happy you are with the car.
