Need Advice On Lowering

Hey everyone.

In line with getting new wheels for my R33 was looking at lowering aswell.

Who do people recommend? Whats the legal limit? Im looking at minimal cost to do it. Also, if I lower the car, will it be fine with my stock suspension?

Whats your budget? Legal limit is 100mm off the ground and a legal eyebrow height (search and find).

You can have a option of going coilovers. Aus spec Tiens are street legal and offer a good comfy ride, where Jap coils offer a stiffer and bumpy ride, but also offer a really low ride height if u need it.

Option 2, would be a Spring and shock combo, eg pedders do a nice comfy ride combo while having a lowish car. A better option then that is a Whiteline/king spring combo.

Coilovers are illegal tho other then Aus spec Tiens. Depends if you wanna be able to adjust them tho.

king springs low or super low with original shocks ??

Not the best idea to just put low springs in the normal shocks Steve as they arnt matched and later down the track will cause your shocks to go.

also luke could you please clarify more about the tein coils that are legal?

i would assume they are not height adjustable.

Aus-spec'd Tein's are ADR approved - Tein Super Street is the name I remember.

It's the Jap-sec that are illegal.

Bilsteins are also ADR-approved and legal.
