Basically what PSIKO said the route that i took was:

Apexi SAFC plus Apexi ITC = $850

Dump and down pipe from turbo = $350ish

Go the Front Mount Intercooler = $2000 - $2500

electronic Boost controller $500

boost gauge $200

HKS CAM GEAR = $350

prob be pulling about 270 - 285 rwhp from that or in holden terms (:P) about 280 Kilowatts (from engine)

Rest of money that you may have left over would go into proffesional dyno tuning and installation of these products.

Using website like www.nengun.siteblast.com

and www.takakaira.co.jp can sive you some money.

AFC + ITC + EBC? That costs about $1700-$2000 plus fitting and tuning you could drive away with a Full plugin ECU tuned etc for around $2000 that will do all this and more.

GTSs only need the exhaust gear at around $180

Hybrid coolers are hitting the market in weeks for about $1000

from Works and PER4MANZ.

All the good go fast parts are coming down in price because of the size of the Jap performance market world wide so their fun times ahead at a good price, we will have a huge list of wild parts

soon( About 4 weeks) at mega cheap price and all parts will be priced in Australia with Australian warranty- no risk of customs probs.

Geez I am always buying at the wrong time! Quite right in saying about the AFC ITC EBC combo, There have been plenty of 2nd hand ones for sale on the forums though which seem to have been OK, I bought the ITC and the EBC 2nd hand so the total of all three came up to about $1300 but obviously not as many control points as a full ecu.

My intercooler eneded up costing a bit but judging from Grants reaction at per4manz on the intercooler it was well worth the money he was quite impressed with it! talking about per4manz i have seen some of his intercoolers, if any you guys are thinkning of getting one and if he has some coming in at $1000 snap them up! grant and steve have done some pretty nice installs down there!!

Is this true?

I have a TurboSmart boost controller in the engine bay, got told that these dont hold boost levels very well?

Ummm for power i went intercooler last, intercooler doesn't add much power so to speak but the turbo friggin loves it heaps better reaction and everything it was sweet! just in summer perhaps don't raise boost over 10psi just for safetys sake perhaps 12 at the most.... running boost at 1 bar (14psi) in middle of summer on a 40 degree day is asking for trouble.

I recon go intercooler last, get the ecu dump pipes etc done 1st, I am sure REV210 willl agree with me on getting the front mount last, he was running VERY low 13's quarters with standard intercooler. but had spent a bit on suspension and tuning.

All you need is a bigger fuel pump, a bosch 910 will do nicely, they cost $220. gtst-vspec and my injectors are still going well, his is making 368hp and mine currently 344hp (un-tuned, will be tuned next week). So what else about the fuel system needs doing? Paul's car has reasonable traction on his bald tyres, I've got a set of 225 dunlop sp9000's and I hardly have any traction troubles, however thats $700 worth of tyres for just the rear end, so his budget will be blown.

dont put a GT30 on with a 5,000 budget

you need the support systems first like intercooler, management, fuel system. dont just throw on a big turbo.

id start doing the whole exhaust. then front mount and full management.

but be prepared to replace your clutch and fuel pump as well and already youre up around the $5,000 mark once its all tuned and fitted.
