Need help. Trying to change my standard BA9S bulbs to led ones (see pic 1). The lights are located in front of the passenger and driver.

I tried to install the lights - a process which takes less than 1 min but there's no lights at all. The bulb is not faulty as i've tried it on my mate's s15, toyota corolla and via a 12V car battery via the + and - polarity. The original BA9S bulb(s) works fine as well when i reinserted them back to the slot (see pic 3)

As you can see from the pics, the installation is pretty straight forward and there's no way you can mix up the polarity. + goes to the bottom tip and - goes to the metal casing.

Hmm . did you buy the LED ones from eBay, cause' im thinking of buying a pair.. but wouldnt want to waste my money if the LED ones dont work.

I know for the middle cabin light, when i bought my LED ones for that, they only worked one way..

Is it the same with your BA9S ?

Yeah bought it at ebay. Starnge thing is it works in all my mates car but not mine.

The middle light or should i say roof light uses the 31mm festoon light.

Correct on the BA9S, i believe they work on one way as well (polarity)
