What Is This Sensor?

Heyy!

I just bought my set of gauges And I would like to know where I should install my Water Temp sensor.

It look like the previous owner already had a sensor installed ( in yellow). But I was wondering if it's the good place where my water temp sensor should go?

Where the current sensor is, is generally the best place if installing in the radiator hose.

Just swap it over with the new one.

The sensor in the radiator pipe would be temperature for a gauge previously in the car.

Also, Do I need to know the temperature of my water before it goes in my intercooler or after it pass throught the intercooler?

lol... i dont think the temperature of the water in your intercooler will make much of a difference...

If you've got water in your intercooler the temp would be the least of your worries

did any of you wise cracks check to see he didn't have a water to air intercooler??

Cos if he did, you would all look kinda stupid! hahaha..

no didn't check but have a look at the other pics on his page, very nice MNP 34GTR and love the wheels!

you want to have it b4 it goes through the radiator, because if you measure it after it comes out of the radiator it doesnt really give you a true indication of what temp the engine is running at.
