Skyline Base Timing Base

hey guys was wondering if anyone could tell me how to set the base timing to 5 degrees on a skyline r33 i turned the crank angle sensor fully anti clockwise now which mark is 5 degrees i am using a timing light i dont know wat mark is 5 degrees ? can someone please help thanks

Hi mate, I guess you mean 33 gtst? base timing should be 15o not 5o. In any case, 0 is the first mark and it should be orange, every mark after that is 5o and is marked in white.

start with the CAS about half way through it's adjustment and check where it comes off. then back off the bolts (but don't undo them fully) and tap the CAS until it rotates and you get the right timing mark. then tighten the bolts back up.

and btw anti clockwise is advance, clockwise is retard
