what is the difference btween r33gts4 and gtr running gear

Hey guys I am looking at buying a R33 GTS4 maily because of the price difference to a gtr, but I just wanted to know if there is any difference in the running gear between the two apart from the engine. including strength.

also I wanted to know if it is true that you can pull a fuse or something to make them rear wheel drive. whitout doing any damage to clutches/trasfur case etc.

I didnt know R33's came 4WD single turbo ?

Ive heard people talk about the fuse switch thing for the GTS4 R32 though making it rear wheel drive. Can anyone confirm this?

Fuse is only in the R32s as far as I know, you'd need a drag controller for the R33s.

The difference? Well RB25DE is a non turbo 2.5L, RB26 is god before it.

That and gearbox, interior, wheels, brakes, suspension, driveshafts, diffs, panels, etc

The R33GTS4 is a non turbo

I did a fair bit of research b4 buying the R32GTS4

Lepperfish the switch thing is true it does work but also disables the hiccas aswell as the 4wd

gtr is twin turbo gts432 single r33gts non turbo

Hahaha OOOOOpppppps,

Major difference between running gear dont even think of putting a rb26dett into it unless you want to change the box transfer and diff plus the rest

Ok so cant you get r33 gts4 in turbo.

if i had an r33 gtst what is involved to make it gts4 or cant you do it.

it is just I have an r33 gtst with a full gtr body kit, flared guards and the whole lot. love drifting and would love 4wd handling and traction.

You would need a r33gtr or gts4 front cut i would go for the gtr front cut because of the tougher transfer case and box

Its a lot of work though you might as well save and buy a gtr in a couple of years
