anyone know if its possible? or of anyone whom has done it before.

naturally there might be the need of making a rear crossmember and tail shaft. its more the bell housing and rear engine plate im thinking off. im guessing the rear plate off a r34 gtr with the 6 speed should be what i might need.

any help would be nice

thanks

I'd be trying either Castlemaine Rodshop or Dellows Automotive for adaptor plates or bellhousings for this sort of conversion.

The problem of the "rare manual" equipped Toyota V8 Soarers will soon be over. I heard they (CRS) have developed a Supra 6 speed conversion kit for these cars, maybe you should try them.

Rod Hadfield knows his shite, he'd be the man that would know.

your biggest prob would be the bellhousing bolting on to the rb block . i'm sure it wouldnt bolt straight on maybe a 6 sp gtr would .

why spend all that money on a 6 speed though spend it on the engine instead u get a lot more power who needs a 6 speed then !!!

Hi MattyB, hope you don't think the Getrag is going to be stronger than an R33 GTST box? Because it isn't. How are you gunna get the speedo to work? The gearshift is in the wrong place as well, plus the clutch plates will need resplining.

How do I know this? Well we just put a Skylines gearbox into a Supra. Stronger and cheaper to get a close ratio gearset.
