hi ive got a 1993 r33 gts-t thats auto and ive noticed that when i take the radiator cap off its like a milkshake, ive checked the engine oil on the dipstick and under the filler cap and its all clean, and i took the trans cooler lines off the radiator and hooked them straight to the trans cooler at the front of the motor and flushed the coolant out and refilled it with new coolant. but then it still goes like a milkshake under the radiator cap its had nothing done to the engine still got stock turbo on. the car starts straiht away everytime and it never over heats, and the car still boosts fine a never misses a beat

i was just wondering if anyone would know wat the problem is at all or if anyones had then same problem, or maybe is it possible that coolent and oil could be getting mixed together through inside the turbo, cheers

sounds like you blown the head gasket

I dont really know if you have blown a headgasket as I am sure you would be seeing Choco milkshake effect in the engine oil,that and it would be most likely overheat. My guess is that the turbo has shit itself, allowing oil to mix with the water on that end.

Yeah you could be right, but the drain out of the turbo goes back to the block, So it should be contaminated too. When you start the car and leave it running, take the radiator cap off and see if there are any bubbles in the radiator.

Are there any welsh plugs in the block between the oil and water galleries? One of these could be corroded.

I wouldn't continue to drive it though, until you get it checked out.

yeah ive decided to get a new turbo anyway and i pulled the inlet manifold off today and notice the back coolent passage in between cylinders 5 and 6 has a bit of milkshake in it so im gonna pull the head off tomorrow and hopefully havent done to much damage to the motor ill let u know wat i have found
