R.I.P.S rb 30 billit main cap block

stock crank

argo rods

custom je pistons

rb26 head by rams

hypertune plenum

twin hks 3037s turbos

Car made 553.5kw at 4 wheels on shell 98 pump fuel

24psi boost it feels insane on the street makes full boost by 5000rpm

and pulls till rev limit 9000rpm

We still have nitrous and race fuel to play with so we will see how we go.

Man that thing looks the ducks nutts! Great power and response for a set of 3037's to be making full boost of 24psi by 5000rpm, gotta love the advantages of the good ol ' fork lift ' rb30's over the 26 bottom ends. Got some more pics of the completed motor and car?

Cheers, Mat.

Haha nice work  If I remember rightly thats more power than a few of the 9s GTRs in Oz are running, just on 98 octane pump gas? Get some E85 and more revs (the dyno plot implies there is more useable power band to be had) and boost and some MT drag radials on that sucker and I can imagine some pump gas/street tyre records falling!

awesome work...good luck with it...another Silver Monster will be lurking out at WSID.

glad i did the upgrade now with all these tough cars coming out of the woodwork.

the tune looks to be still fairly fat...but at that boost on pump it needs to be...and why didn't they run it in shoot-out mode?

i have a question, i do not want this to be taken the wrong way at all. Yes its a very tough example of a gtr.

How would this thing drive ? say on a track ? or on the street, if your only over 350kw for 30 - 35km's in th rev range would it render the power useless and thus make the car really slow?
