R32 R200 Diff Backing Plate Bolts

im buying a r33 r200 diff, seller asks if i want the 2 bolt backing plate or 4 bolt backing plate?

i want to fit the diff into my r32 gts25 (5x1 axles)

which backing plate do i want?

4 bolt cause r32's are 4 bolt, make sure it comes with the bushes and bolts to bolt the front of the diff in cause r33 ones are longer than the r32 ones

thanks for the reply. i thought it was 4 bolt so i got that backing plate. I will update this thread when i install the diff to confirm what it is.

regarding the diff bolts (two front bolts) for the r33 r200

are there any other cars I can get these longer diff bolts from? I have the bushings but no bolts.

installed the diff

r32/s13 = 4 bolt backing plate

r33/s14 = 2 bolt backing plate

r33 diff has larger front (propshaft end) bolt ring things and so you will need the rubber bushes to accept the bolt. the bolt is also longer than the one used to secure the r32 diff because of the bushings. i.e. you can't use your r32 diff bolts to install the r33 diff.

so the things you need to install a r33 diff into the r32 are:

r33 r200 diff

r33 diff front bolt bushings

r33 diff front bolts

4 bolt backing plate (can be swapped off your r32 r200).
