Ill have to send you a post on this later on......

i recall ringing around for this a few years ago...regarding my Toyota Supra headlights...

there was a mob that was doing this... they said that they opened the headlight lense by melting/softening the adhesive and refurbishing the headlight.....it was cheap too.

ill let you know also when i get home this afternoon, it was on a magazine i bought.

also...you may wanna look at Reglazing the lense.

during that time when i was trying to get it refurbished... there was a glazier company

which was willing to copy the lense. but the disadvantage of that was that...they require the plastic lense sent to them separate... takes them about a week.

but in turn...glass headlights is ALOT better than plastic...it will never have hairline cracks and will not not discolour due to age.

and plus... with plastic, you can lose a small percentage of lighting... but apparently with clear glass you lose nothing.

There is a place called Plastifusion, on Sunnyholt rd Blacktown.

(next to Charlestone Exhaust Shop) They do headlight repairs & plastic welding for heaps of smash shops. I don't know their number, but might be worth looking them up/giving them a call ? I got them to weld some bits for me a while ago, no probs.
