R34 Gtr Door Glass Removal

started a thread here for trying to get my door glass out.

I figure if there's anyone in Perth who knows what to do (or able to come down and help out ) then I'd really appreciate it...I've just had a bad experience with O'Brien's trying to fix my civic door window 4 times without success so I don't want to pay them to screw up the GTR.

I can't see why removing the glass from an R34 GTR would be any harder than an R33, and I did that when the Mrs window got broken.

Remove all the door trim and it's pretty obvious.

I have an idea......swap my 33Gtr with perfectly working window for your 34

Seriously though if it is anything like other windows I have worked on the bottom of the window will be sitting in a bracket which is attached to two arms that pivot in the centre. The two arms will be attached to the window bracket with a bolt on either end. You will need to remove the plastic film sheet that is between your door trim and door to get acces to the bolts and the window will have to be at the correct height to give you access to the bolts. Once the bolts are removed you should be able to lift the window out without to many dramas. hth
