Screamer Pipe

I was wondering what a screamer pipe does and is there any benefits to it. Is it only for sound?

mine came from jap with one

as i understand it, vents exhaust gases from an external wastegate. is a pipe which can vent straight to the atmosphere or can be plumbed into the down pipe off the exhaust wheel of the turbo

lube I 'm thinking of getting some made up they look like this

they help the turbo spool up a bit quick and might even be worth a bit in power. but they sound un real

I have fixed the temp sensor, the car starts a bit better now, but the car is not fixed yet, its ****ed.

Is there any difference between the one pictured above and

the other one that flows back into the front front pipe? As in

performance wise?

Well depending on how far down the dump pipe the connector is, you'd possibly get less turbulance with the screamer... I doubt there'd be a noticable difference in power between the two, although I'm sure you'd think it was faster because of all the extra noise

If you doing mind a bit of noise they're cool as... But don't expect to be able to floor it wherever you go... Stealth is not an option

Alright - I'll see what he says.

Split pulse... Same deal as the screamer pipe, except it's joined back into the system further down the pipe. It's supposed to decrease turbulence, but I don't know if it'd make that much difference to be worth the extra $$$ they charge for it.
