^ ^ ^ Psychopharmacologist + Hypnotherapist + Counsellor

I love Nutritional Psych 'cause there are many puzzles to solve + lots of people who've been shoved into the 'too-hard-basket' (poor ppl)

^ ^ ^ And Patrick, there's a Q/A Inventory from Uni Saskatchewan called the Hoffer-Osmond Diagnostic Test which does checks on Serotonin/Dopamine/Noradrenaline

5 Clinical scales.

Admissable in court - but usually as a companion to a Psych & Temperament Test like the MMPI (Uni Minnesota)

Last week I had to do a report for a guy in Long Bay after he'd been using speed > bashed up his ex-wife.

I don't write reports to get ppl off - just to give the judiciary a sense of clarity thru' diagnosis + conditional prognosis subject to sticking to a treatment regime. That's assuming of course that the treatment regime is correct.

I don't like court wk.

Barristers have a nasty habit of pulling rebuttal witnesses - some of whom believe their own furphys or like the limelight with their own agenda/egos.

so does this HODT and MMPI test cost much? where would i get it done over here? would be fun to do if it wasnt some crazy large amount of money.

ive only been to court for traffic matters but if its anything like that, no cant imagine it would be much fun!!

HOD Test only involves 1/2 hr testing & 1/2 hr scoring/interpretation.

Only consider an MMPI-IV (4-5hrs) if absolutely necessary.

For assessing other brain neurotransmitters, I do a computer test formulated by Dr Henry Osiecki Patrick.

Anyway, can discuss at Wakie. Cheers, T

MDMA probably won't do permanent damage so long as the person doesn't already have a genetic deficiency.

If the person does, then I'm afraid risk of permanent damage is quite high.

The thing I feel is super-tragic:- the person can pass the damage down to his/her offspring. :ermm:

Interesting to hear that from a medical profesional who specialises in the area.

How does this compare to some of the analogs and subsitutes you see people end up taking. ie BZP, TFMPP, 4-MMC, GHB, DXM and plenty of other horrid substances i wonder?

Lots of people have genetic deficiencies & sensitivities these days.

Why? Because their parents often used drugs - but their grandparents didn't.

Testing can differentiate as to whether those deficiencies are mild, moderate or severe.

I don't have to differentiate between GHB, THC, MDMA or Smack or yaddayadda > because if the Testing has good reliability & validity coefficients, I can plan a treatment regime from that common denominator. If the client is able to tell me what drug he/she has used, it only tells me that I should administer Testing and what Test. Besides, when a client has taken a recreational drug, he/she isn't to know if that is what the dealer says it was.

Another tragedy:- In all my years of (-well locum) pharmacy, guess how many times a parent has come into the chemist with their child to ask about the vagaries of taking 'drugs'?

Answer - Once!

Part-reason - I wish more pharmacies had a confidential consult'n area. Chemists need to be more approachable too. Too many chemists just call out patients' names and discuss openly, personal issues. I don't like that.

Another thing I don't like:- Out of all the health care professionals that exist like chemist/chiropractor/hypnotherapist/massage practitioner/bowen therapist/osteopath/acupuncturist/naturopath etc., the only one that does not require to do a senior first aid certificate is the pharmacist! Do you think that's fair?

whats a bowen therapist?

anyway all good points and no its not fair, even i have to do a first aid cert and i just work on trains!

will have to text u or something re the test, could be fun.

whats a bowen therapist?

Umm, since I'm not one, my heresay tells me that they work on body pressure point parts to raise immune sytem > endocrine system > configural problems > arthritis

I'm not qualified, so I can't say much more & I've never googled it.

Invented by Tom Bowen.

Some practitioners get good results.

    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much

    • 😜 hopefully we get this instead of a new R36 GTR due to recent financial problems at Nissan. Nismo to sell a complete kit with RB26 and driveline. All starts making sense (ok maybe not) once the Nissan Leaf's (Leaves?) with stuffed EV motors/batteries hit the market cheap
