Wastegate Actuators

Just wondering if R32 GTR wastegate actuators are the same with both stock turbos and N1 turbos? A mate has just bought a stock GTR (upgraded exhaust and intercooler) and its really laggy and wanted to swap some N1 actuators onto it to see whether it fixed the problem. If not does anyone have any suggestions? Already checked the obvious things such as boost leaks, dirty air filters, etc. It still pulls fine to red line also without any misses.

what rpm does he get full boost by?? should be around 4000rpm.. also dont redline unless he is up for rebuild soon

Feels like it really starts to take off after 5000 - 5500 rpm providing that the tacho is correct which I think it is.
