Need Help

hey guys i am trying to do a cv joint replacement on my car and i have run in to a small prob i can not get the spindle nut off from the cv join...... i have tryed a number of things e.g heat then rapid cooling, a prybar with a steel bar... i have released the safty mek on it but it still wont come off... i dont think it has ever been changed...

You will probly need to shock it. If you cant get hold of a rattle gun, put a socket and breaker bar on it, get someone to put weight on it and tap the prybar with a 5lbs Lump hammer. Not much else you can do.

Or, drive the car to a workshop, get them to rattle it loose, then just tighten it up to drive home. Piece of cake.

Just did this, this arvo on my charade turbo.

Fit the wheels, and make sure the center cap is off and car is on the ground, in gear and handbrake on.

Put breaker bar on and use a three meter long pole on the bar if you don't have a rattle gun.

Both came off easy

YEA GOT IT me and a mate had to put all our weight on it.... it had welded on there... but yea all good now thanks for the help
