Hey all, just a quick question. Any way of determining torque figures off a dyno sheet? Mine has psi, kph and kw on each axis, is there a way of doing a conversion to work it out?

Ask your tuner, he may have the torque curve saved on his computer on a seperate graph

there is a straight conversion you can do to get Nm from the kW line by an equation using revs at each point times a constant, i just can't remember what that constant is (the computer that runs the dyno only does the equation tractive effort x revs x constant anyway, since power is a derived value)

i might pay him a visit and ask him to reprint the graph with a Nm value on it then.

TORQUE (Nm) = (POWER (kW) x 9550) / SPEED (rpm)

you will end up with a reading of tq at the rear wheels, its a meaningless number anyway
