2009 Nissan Gt-r Updated Official 0-60mph Time

so the thing launches at 3000rpm now - vs what 4800rpm?

Question is, how is it now quicker?

Maybe they recalibrated the traction control? New rubber?

Either way, if the numbers are true, they've pulled a hare out of their clacker on this one.

plenty of reviewers have stated anything from 3.3-3.5s on the original one. Pretty much the ones that reckon it wont go below 3.7 just aren't pushing it hard enough  not that 0.2s is really that huge a difference :/

VDC is improved greatly to be far less intrusive in R mode. More power. Better rubber. Ideal conditions.

Yeah, some dude over in the US just did an 11.03 sec quarter mile with just a cobb tune and the new revised LC. Imagine that, a street car in Australia that does low 11 sec quarter miles each and every time, day in day out. You'll virtually be unbeatable :)

Who would've thought that Nissan would make a car this good for this price? I mean, i used to dream about owning a 911 turbo because of its performance numbers. Now, i don't need to anymore - I can get a GTR which is even faster for under half the price of the Porker. Good times indeed. Thank you Nissan.

I bet the guys who cancel their order in Australia because they thought that Nissan would remove the LC feature for Australian models are pretty pissed off right now - considering that all GTR allocations for Australia have been sold.
