Thinking Of Buying A 1991 S13 Convertible

hey i've got my eye on a 1991 s13 convertible and i'd love to know general opinion and or know faults with this car. cheers

If you can live with an automatic CA then go for your life. It's very well priced for the money spent on the body work. Was gona buy it myself actually.

Their getting old so be careful of that. Silviasate decent cars though. Manual and SR20 conversion is a must imo though. Good luck, should be a good unique project.

Ask SilviaWA, they'd know more then us.

Yah same one. He was interested in a swap plus cash for my car but then I had same problem, he stopped replying to my emails.

Was gona throw a 33 box and dirty SR in it.

S13 convertibles only come in automatic transmition and CA18DET engines. factor in an SR20 and manual convertion later on and it should be a sweet ride but as Rhys said they are getting a bit old so look around and find a good example. tho its good to be different sometimes and the convertible S13 looks nice i reckon.

Although as a car they get everything wrong..

From a purely style point of veiw, these are excellent cars for girls with bad motoring taste, midgets, midget girly hairdressers and people who dream of being a pink dragon.

Nah, S13 convertables are much better then Capris. I was reading an old edition of HOT4s with a pink S13 convertable with an S15 front end. It works better then the S13.5 coupes because they don't have the boxy roof. However the fact it was a pink girls car does support Revs theory

Downfall is yes it's a auto CA, but nothing a little cash couldnt fix

buy it, chuck a RB20/25 or a SR20 into it, and change those rims on it at the moment..will be nice after..get it looking something like this
