I've tuned a few on 98, the guy's say "go's alright hey", I'm like "does it"

latest e85 tune was 445rwkw on std 2.5L.... e85 FTW.

ps just ran i to some local yankies in a R35 gtr at taco bell in malibu they love the aussie skyline scene.

300k's to 70L at the moment. Going in for another tune at RE tomorrow for more powah.

A lot of skyline drivers get that on 98 so I would be pretty happy if I were you.

Don't say that too loud around here lol....I have personally seen 180or200's in the 430's at the bags on std internal engine....Mine has been at 350 for a couple of years now on E85 internally stock. E85 is where its at thats for sure.

if it's the car i think trent is talking about then its a 1.5JZ with t04 in a cressida

it actually made 451.7rwkw on 20psi using e85 .. think it was the last car trent tuned before he went away to get chained up... err, i mean married

wow indeed thats massive for a stock motor... how do you reckon it will cope with it trent?

i went with a 50/50 mix of e85 and bp98 (mainly to avoid upgrading injectors etc) and churned out 360 rwkw on 4 psi less boost and a shitload more timing...pretty good stuff ethanol is

yeah Pat that's what worries me too. Not really an issue if you're driving a stock under-stressed commodore, but pushing ~300rwkw out of an rb25 or similar...

if you ran an E70 map though, to cover all bases, wouldn't it be too lean then if you actually got E85 from Caltex?

definitely need some clarification from Caltex over this... .might call them tomorrow.

I'm yet to make maps for anything but PULP atm, but will be doing this as soon as it hits the local servo in ACT.

i was thinking of making a full e85 map and also another map somewqhere in between PULP and e85.

What do you guys do when going from PULP to E85 and vice versa? a full tank drain? or just run it very empty and put in the different type of fuel and change maps at the servo?

As long as the tank is low it should be fine, just watch changing back to 98 as if the lines are full of e85 still it will run lean. Wideband ftw.
