Not bailing her out, but I cant say I like the idea of the alloy guards/bonnet thing, way to soft material for a panel on a street driven car IMO. I have a GTR alloy bonnet on my 32 and the bloody thing has a few imprints of people knuckles when shutting it.

I wasnt so much reffering to when I shut the hood, when other people do - workshops etc. Mine wont shut by dropping it, maybe the latch needs a bit of a lube up, then again it is a 8kg bonnet lol.
