Turbo Help!

Hey Guys

Was driving my car this morning and when i was leaving i was in 2nd gear and come about 4000rpm it felt like i hit rev limiter in my car [Which isnt that low] so i changed to 3rd and then when i went to take off again my turbo sounded like it was spinning really really loudly and i had absoultely no boost what so ever and was unable to get much power at all due to the turbo not working...

Just wondering if anyone knows what the prob might be.... Mods are

3" cat zorst

boost controller

FMIC

vi-pec ecu

as stated above, check for boost leaks.

Could have blown also blown a cooler pipe

Yeah i'd be looking towards boost leak too.

If its really loud and no boost at all, i'd maybe say the compressor wheel has shat its self, sounds similar to what happened when mine did.

Just had a look last night and i cant see/feel any leaks in any of the pipping work with the FMIC and the car seems to run fine except no boost at all and turbo wheel sounds like its still spinning....

Check EVERY SINGLE JOIN in the intake plumbing - one of them has popped.

That ^^ and take off the intake pipe and have a look at the turbo - check for excessive shaft play or worse no wheel...

My money's on the rear compressor coming loose from the dump pipe. No back pressure so the turbo is spooling up real quick.....

just got it checked out and yep worst fears are reality... TURBO has BLOWN.... =[
