R32 Reverse Prob

drove to work on friday, reversed out of my driveway as normal, parked at work, finished 8 hours later and my gear stick refuses to budge into reverse, so i stopped forcing and left it, pushed it out of the park and now i am curious to what it could be, i got a spare clutch around here somewhere, or could it just eed an adjujstment, any help would be good.

Sounds like the reverse lock out spring has broken! I have the same problem in my GTR at the moment, just went suddenly also. Try a search, i found some usefull infomation!

My lockout spring snapped 2

$2 spring from nissan. drop crossmember, take cover off & replace

Pretty common amongst skylines and silvias. Usually you can just put it back into neutral, let the clutch out and try again and it goes in... usually....

Well not if the spring is broken but every skyline and silvia I have driven has had the little hesitation of not going into reverse at times. Sometimes just requires patience.
