Well it’s been a long time coming but with a lot of time and effort behind the scenes we have been able to secure what we believe is going to be a popular trackday event on the inspiring Oran Park GP Circuit.

**Public Holiday/June long weekend**

Now everyone knows that the closure of Oran Park is immanent. Speculation and rumor is never ending about actual when nevertheless this "could" be one of your last opportunities to infact drive on the GP Circuit. Autosports Australia is proud to be bringing this opportunity to the grass-roots motorsport fraternity.

Many people describe the GP Circuit as "the best permanent racetrack in the country" and contrary to what a lot of people. Some say that to put together a fast lap around the GP Circuit is the ultimate and not achievable without skill and precision.

Here is a lap of Oran Park GP with Autosports own driver trainer John Boston at the 2008 Superlap event driving another Autosports patron’s Elias’s highly modified Honda S2000.

I heard this is filling up pretty quickly!!

And so it should, who knows how long Oran Park will be around for!!!

Anyone with a good, fun car, should get it on Oran Park before it closes, its one of the best tracks Australia has to offer!!!

DO IT!!

I put my name down, definitely want as many runs at OP before I can't :ermm:

Just curious at what times I should expect. First time at Oran Park not drifting, with a stock car except for seat and harness :P

oh so tempting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will see if there are any sprint days around then, if not, I'll need some more training for sure!

We have Round 4 @ Wakefield on the 7th of June..... :ermm:

But as stated before... get out to this track it is awesome!!!!

Matt (cassbo) mate you should be aiming for around 1:30's or just under!! But just get out there and have a ball!!

Matt (cassbo) mate you should be aiming for around 1:30's or just under!!
the goal is 1.30 Matt, thats what the lil red nugget did! :D

So my estimate of around 1'45" is a little... ummm... conservative? :D

Well if the goal is to beat the Miatafail's time than I will certainly try to do it. Don't think it will happen though, not with street rubber and boat spec suspension :)

Ando did a 1.32 in his RB20 spec ceffie on semi's with speed limiter!

Im sure you can get that, or better it - you do have a fair idea how to steer Matt :)

But get JB in the car, he'll get your times down, thats the best part of these autosports days, you get awesome instructors that help out, and they are very friendly and great blokes!
