Help in finding sump nut

ok after many attempts with different types of wrenches, clamps and rubber bands the oil sump nut is finally rounded

i now need to find a replacement nut

where can I find a r33 oil sump nut from?

which wreckers?

or better yet! does anyone happen to have a spare one lying around or is gonan service their car soon, can you find out the size of the nut and its dimensions so i can find a replacement easier.

Did you try filing the nut on a couple of sides, then tapping in a slightly smaller spanner??

you should be able to find the nut at a hardware store if you can get it off, and get yourself to a hardware store without the 33.

you need to take the whole engine out to install baffles, you can't just do it via the sump plug.

Can't you just drop the sump out of the bottom of the engine? after you've drained the oil of course..

nut? plug...bolt? file it down take it to a hardware store and get the thread etc matched.

hey, my mate (hes on these forums as RB25) went to nissan and they gave him something like 5 oil filters, 5 sump plugs and washers all for $29.

So basically, try Nissan !
