hey just bought a second hand twin plate direct clutch it has a little clutch dust on the plates and was just wondering what to use to clean the plates off ie. what kind of solvent ??

Soapy water man. Use NO OIL based products.

isnt water bad for the raw metal on the clutch ??

It's not going to rust it out if that's what you think.

When driving in the rain, do you think that no water whatsoever enters the bell housing?

If you think I'm pulling my dick, go ahead and use compressed air..................

vacuum cleaner to get most of the dust off with a brush to loosen it, then use carby cleaner on it.
