Stolen?

I have seen a skyline (first time i have seen this one) in my street tonight.

It has no number plates front or rear.

I am wondering if it has been pinched and then dumped (the Hornsby area is not a common place for dumping cars but....)

so i am thinking should i report it to the police or not.

I would hate to report it if it wasn't stolen and cause trouble for the owner but

I would hate it more if someone did dump it but then came back to tow it away later or whatever.

Any way its a white 33 with mags on the rears and stockish rims on the front.

If you hear of someone losing one pm me with a description and if satisfied I will tell you which street it is on

Report to the police, they will find a way to identify the car, but more than likely door knock the houses around the area to check for an owner.

If it's stolen, someone might get thier pride back, if it's not stolen, then you at least gave the police a bit of excersise for the night, no harm done.

I would check with the house that it's directly out the front of first, and if it's not theirs, then report it to the cops before it starts missing parts

It could be the difference to someone getting their pride and joy back in one piece

They will indentify the car by reading the rego label details....very very easy....unless rego label is not there due to smashed window...If window smashed, car can be unlocked, bonnet popped and vin plate read...If vin plate is not there engine number can be read..if engine is not there, check that car is still there...If no car or engine exists it may not be stolen because for a car to be stolen it first must exist....ddeeeeppppp

i wouldnt check with the house, you may walk into the people who stole it. Not a good idea.......

Police will find out, if not stolen, all good, if stolen, recovered! which is always good!

either way, its illegal to have a non registered car parked on the street.
