The pic of terry reminded me of the bigfoot pic sorry Tez..

That's farkin funny :D You got a good memory to think back to such a random (yet appropriate) pic (mainly the background Terry, not the subject!).

I wish i didn't go to work today. I feel like crap. I'm so tired.

But i'm here....

I went to bed early (by my standards) so feelin ok; was dodgy last night though I had to drive all the way back to the city and could feel a cold coming on. Lots of tea though and about 2000mg of Vit C and I'm all good today.

Extra points though for the Canberra kids for driving all the way back down south, glad they are ok!

And just to remind you all that the Canberra kids are chillin at home cause it's a public holiday here today :D

Man after reading this it is not making me feel any better as i try not to fall asleep at work.

Just want to say thanks to all the organisers of the event i had a great time though i forgot to take a toilet break before we left and really paid for it by the time we got there i have decided coilovers and needing to pee do not mix lol, though i wasn't the only one in group 2 that made a run for the nearest tree as soon as we stopped haha.

i have to say i really was impressed with all the cars there and was nice to see so many GTR's at once.

And the cars did look awesome parked under the tree's i specially like this shot maybe because mine is in it lol(first on the left) and it was great to put faces to some names as well thanks for the great event guys.

Glad you liked the photo Jason. It was great to see a variety of different colours in the R34s which I was trying to show in some of my photos.

Maybe we will organise some porta-loos on our next one!

Thanks to guys like you Jason, all you responsible attendees with your schmick cars make this a wonderful event!

You Jason mentioned that it's good to put faces to names! You're right 100%!

BUT, Can I also mention that I can now put a NAME TO A FACE that you all know... Mr Mark Skaife!

On our Awards Certificate Thread by SHANE666, we've got some great news via Registered Mail.

Well done on the cruise guys! Sorry I couldn't make it, Skyline is off the road for now and I didn't want to spoil the pics with a supra or a celica :P

Though now looking at the pics, I could have easily made a few phone calls and grabbed a seat or two!

Glad it all went well fellas! :D

    • They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
