one word PERFECT mate

keep the good work up!!!!!!!!

He's an excellent photographer i fully agree. Hence one of a few reasons why i never hesitated to take him. He's a huge fan of the nissans and stageas in particular but his work speaks miles for him. He's the official photographer of our website www.newcastledna.com though its still early days so we havnt had much done.

I hope to see some magazines take notice of his work and give him the step up he needs. He's been shooting top notch pics of newi rides for years.

You may even notice my old ute if your lucky and patient in his photobucket. His first hi def shots from memory????

xmetal for photography president. lol

because i've had 2 gtr's and havent been on a cruise in awhile. :)

A very good mate of mine has a quite large property at Mt Wilson. Its a frequent place for weekends when we both take the cars out for a run. There are some very nice corners on the way there, but the road that actually leads to Mt Wilson is quite shithouse with the exception of the 180degree uphill corner most of it is bumpy. So take it easy :)

Before you guys go organising anything for the R32's FYI the club is already organising an anniversary with some heavy hitting cars :)

Hi Steve-O,

Yep, we also had something planned for the R32 21st Anniversary Charity Cruise N Show N Shine :P

We'd be happy to pass on details of what we had planned and let you guys run this as an OFFICIAL SAU Event

So far, we've been liaising with Terry Ashwood about next year's 21st Anniversary of the R32 and it looks as if Fred Gibson could possibly become involved if we ask him. ;)

We envisaged that the 21st Anniversary Cruise would start at Bobbin Head > Bobbin Hd Rd > Pacific Hwy > Old Pac > Destination Trackside Restaurant Cnr Manns Rd & Central Coast Hwy at West Gosford.

No date had yet been set!

Terry Ashwood suggested that his business would not suffer (in fact it could benefit) if we ran this Event on a "Sunday morning/lunch".

If there were enough cars (and his carpark can accommodate up to 80-90), he's been most gracious to offer to close down the restaurant for most of the day for us SAUers until 4pm!!! His driveway has to be taken at an angle for low-lipped cars.

Terry is also prepared to open up the outside balcony over the carpark for photography purposes.

Our Organising Committee also envisaged...

i) Award Certificates signed by both Terry Ashwood (confirmed) and Fred Gibson (currently in process)

ii) Media Promotion once again via Daily Telegraph Motoring Editor Kevin Hepworth

iii) HPI sponsorship and coverage by Jason

iv) ...and why not 2Rismo - Adrian too

v) Vid coverage by Andrew at JetMedia

vi) Japanese Martial Artists etc.

vii) SAU Members (but only fully paid ones) get discounts on their food.

viii) Group #1 Cars = R32 GT-Rs since it's their 21st B'Day

Group #2 Cars = R32s

Group #3 Cars = Non-R32s

Feel free to E-Mail me on [email protected] for up-to-date E-mails with Terry i) above, Steve!

I'm happy to pass the Baton on to the SAU Staff whilst the other Organisers are happy too.

It's been a real pleasure to work with a team of SAU Members/Business Traders that were so constructive in everything we did!

Yours Sincerely,

Terry & Eugene & Nick & Matt & Shanil & Shehan & Rafael

PS Magnificent 7? Nah 4 of them died! Hahaha

Oh yes!

...and how can I forget (as my Organising team reminds me)...

ix) NISSAN Signage as at the R34 10th ANNIV Start

Compliments of Chris Reely Manager - Market Representation (Eastern Region)

NISSAN MOTOR CO. (AUSTRALIA) PTY. LTD.

Many Thanks to Chris!

Terry...I like this Trackside restaurant idea. Sounds good. Also that restaurant is kool! Good choice of roads too!

You can put me down for an advanced expression of interest

Yes Hamish, some SAUers are already aware of La Porchetta Trackside Restaurant. The members have already had a major meeting there.

Cnr Central Coast Hwy and Manns Rd West Gosford. For bookings: 02-43224433

For those who've never been there, IT IS AN EXPERIENCE!

IT'S A VIRTUAL NISSAN SKYLINE RESTAURANT!

The place is bedecked with NISSAN RACING CARS, Group A Trophies won by NISSAN, a MURAL of SKAIFE, GIBSON & CO.

You feel as if you need a Vid Cam as well as a Digi Cam inside this establishment!

The food is really terrific with Stone Grill specialties.

Prices are very reasonable!

Even the Men's Toilet has pictures on the walls with Bathurst Starts of '91 & '92

Dunno about the Ladies haha

Terry

More Pics of R34s, Kyoshi Hans and Sensei Dave at the R34 GT-R 10th Anniversary on their website...

See Bakes' car BEFORE it gets chopped in half!

Yes Terry, i've stopped off there when it was closed one night and it looked awesome. The Bluebird and the R31/DR30? coupe racecars were what got me!

Will have to go for a cruise up there for dinner one night.
