Attention All:

After some discussion with the organisers a decision will be made on Saturday afternoon as to whether or not Sunday will be proceeding.

Please log on to SAU after 5pm on Saturday for alerts regarding the event on Sunday. If it happens to rain tomorrow and Saturday (knock wood that it doesnt), Sunday will most likely be postponed for a week due to excessive moisture at Mount Wilson.

If you are aware of friends who are coming on Sunday and associate on other forums please pass on the word in relation to the above.

Thanks.

Hey guys i live on the central coast (gosford) anyone cruising from this area ? If so what time and where from to meet up with everybody ?

Yes. there's another couple of posts around where Bakes, EJD001 and others are meeting up beforehand - at a Shell Servo I think! :/

Good News!

2X Bayside Blue R34 GT-R VSs from Top Secret Imports are "IN"

One is already registered under Garry Sandher

The other will be driven by Jack Sandher = A NEW REGISTRATION :/

Picking up my freshly tuned car from work shop in Sydney on Sunday morning and going straight to meet point. Still having battery issues though (keeps going dead)

If I need a jump start or 2 on the day, I hope someone will help me out :/

Hey bakes I thought you were fixing the battery last week.

So did I man. I put a brand new battery in it and that went flat also. The car is in Sydney, when I get it home Ill have to take it to an auto electrician to try find out what the hell is draining the battery out.

I hope that the sparkie can work things out to-day in a hurry Bakes!

I might be best if you N/Coast C/Coast guys use the toilet facilities at the International Regatta Centre. :)

Up at The Avenue at Mt Wilson there's 1X Ladies and 1X Gents only. :)

There are more Toilet facilities at the Picnic Area 3mins drive further on - when we knock off for lunch. ;)

    • Hey Duncan, I've always set them up from 6 -> 1. Due to slightly higher EGT's, I also add a small amount of fuel to cylinder 6 & 5. I understand why you start at 6 but curious as to why you then continue somewhat based on firing order? Thanks
    • United E85 is always 85% ethanol. At least it claims to be. But that goes out of the window about thirty seconds after you put a tank of it into your car and can't do the math to determine if you have 76% ethanol, or 47% ethanol or 26% ethanol because you put 33L in, then 16L in, then a full tank of 98, then "Some" E85. Ethanol tunes that aren't full flex or full E85 all the time are just absolutely a waste of time. Don't be stupid and ruin your car.
    • I don’t mean this in any negative way. But, if u are after this type of data why don’t u have a flex fuel sensor?
    • So what now? Enjoy it and go cruising or more modifications? Few meets/cruises happen in the west every now and then, should definitely take it out.
    • The issue still requires a human to get all the logic right, and each thing being done takes up processing power. Meaning less processing power for other tasks to occur too. It also typically means a team of size 10, is working one everything, vs 5x teams of 3 working on separate products, so less man power to review and perfect it all.   That's the typical issue of AIO. It's also why manufacturers of cars even split tasks out into separate systems, and share data as required
