Must just be a modified factory kit? Did you get the car from Japan, or somewhere else ??

Front bars have to be cut in any case to fit a FMIC in, which sucks, over here cops love to give us trouble for it, apparently painting them black makes them invisible ? Havent tried it yet, but I know a black intercooler would make a white / light colored Ceffy look f**king mean.

It's fiberglass, so it can't be factory moded. I think it came from Japan, but I really don't know.

That would look mean. I'll try painting it black after/if I paint the car.

It's been a while since I've posted about my car. I blew my stock motor. So I bought a cheap 2nd (or 3rd (or 4th)) hand motor. The replacement rb20 came with Tomei cams and a rb25 turbo.

I decided that rb20 just isn't giving me enough. So I found a new toy that I will be dropping in: (sorry for the grainy pic)

we have the bumper in malaysia. its called TBO1..

    • Meh. Every single gear in my gearbox will crunch. I've been treating it nicely for >12 years now.
    • How fast are you doing the downshift? 4th gear was revised multiple times until 1998 to fix this issue. Synchro clips can fall out, synchros can wear. Most likely you're looking at a new transmission unfortunately. If you need to limp it until then double clutch downshifts into 4th.
    • Sorry I was being harsh there, but am I wrong? You can buy a M340i easily, and there's loads available second hand. A lot more workshops modifying them as well. How about getting parts for them? Don't get me wrong, I'd love a 400R, even a 4cyl (I looked at a few V36s before buying my shitbox BMW). Sadly Infiniti died in Aus and we're stuck with importing them as niche vehicles. Supply and demand
    • Probably straight swap for an R32 GT-R? lol
