Difference Between Sf-dis-005 And Sf-dis-001

Hey Guys\Girls,

I have a RB20DET, and I can get my hands on a set of SplitFires SF-DIS-005.

Now, these technically aren't made for the RB20DET. The box has the following models on it: Rb26DETT, RB25DET, RB25DE and RB20DE.

The SplitFire model number for my car is SF-DIS-001. Would the SF-DIS-005 work\fit at all for my engine?

Don't want to buy them and then find that they don't fit :\

After some more research, it appears that the difference is with the RB25DET S1 and RB25DET S2 coilpacks.

Can these be used in anyway, or should I just not bother.

The only reason I am asking, is cause I can get them for cheep cheep

they wont work. the series 2 coils have built in ignitors and the series 1 doesnt. You need series 1 coils on your RB20DET.

I have had a set of these on my Series 1 RB25DET for 2 weeks now and they are awesome. Only cost me $350 posted too.
