Shop around, a while ago there was a guy in Thomastown selling them for $10/each with metal bracket, I got a few as did some club members

I found him advertising on ebay...and it was a clothes shop too, very random....

They were $20 at repco last week, metal brackets and all.....exactly the same one i picked up from autobarn for $30

Before you hand over your hard-earned, have a look on the bottom of the cylinder for a date of manufacture (format is MM/YY).

From memory, CAMS puts a 3 year life on extinguishers - that's 3 years from manufacture, not purchase. Sometimes, the extinguisher can be more than 1 year old before it is bought.
