does anyone know if the possible gains of a stroker kit are worth the $6000US i saw? up to 2700cc

yeah........these things arent that cheap

ive got a catalogue for GT-R .....this is dated a few years back

(im sure pricing wouldve changed)

GREX 2700cc (87.0X75.7mm) & 2731cc (87.5x75.7) $19,000

HKS 2771xx 87x77.7mm Hi-deck kit (9.5:1 comp) $35,760 (incl pulley kit, crank damper, head bolts, bearings etc)

HKS/OS Giken 3000cc $POA <--- (in other words...you dont wana know)

Kakimomto 3000cc spacer and sleeves $n/a (engine must be built in Japan)

S&S 2771cc (87x77.7mm) $19,700

now you got an idea....im sure if you do a search for todays markets... prices may have increased

Yes, prices are very, very high for most strokers.

But, you get quite a lot in return for your money.

Id be happy paying 10k AUD for a stroker (HKS step 3 anyone?), just not USD with the exchange rate as it is :cool:

If you're getting a good stroker, may aswel get the best...
