One is a track tyre with stiff sidewalls the other is a drag tyre.

The drag tyres are crap in the wet as you would expect from any drag tyre.

I'd rather go a RE540 than the nitto as an in between.

Sorry I think we got mixed up a bit on this one. I was talking nitto drag tyres.

By the sounds of things the nitto street tyres are very good indeed (only just looked at your thread). Very interesting to see the retail damage on them new.
