Tell me this then.... (and yes im no mechanic by a long shot)

When i am cruising if i clutch in and coast, then proceed to move the gear between neutral and third, I can sometimes feel/hear contact with the gears (similar to when you dont push to clutch far enough and it grinds) ... Secondly when changing from first to second i get something similar. I can feel contact in my hands, but only a little. Its got me a little concerned.

Doesnt seem right to me as i never noticed this before. I havent had the car long and its in top condition.

Any ideas??

First thing you should try is to drain the clutch fluid, check your master and slave cylinders for wear, then bleed the clutch.

Second is to adjust the clutch pedal travel if the first step doesn't work.

Thirdly drop the box and check your synchos.
